DPAii (European Platform for Shareholder Identification and Information) is the central platform solution of Bundesanzeiger Verlag that supports issuers in the secure and legally compliant identification of their shareholders in accordance with SRD II (Shareholder Rights Directive II).

The DPAii platform serves as a central digital communication hub between issuers and intermediaries (such as custodian banks) to fulfill the requirements of SRD II (Shareholder Rights Directive). Its primary function is the automation of shareholder identification: issuers submit requests to identify their investors via the platform; DPAii handles the communication with custodian banks through secure SWIFT channels and consolidates the often fragmented shareholder data received. In addition, the platform enables intermediaries to settle and report reimbursement claims related to the shareholder identification process.
